Media Chain’s Student Problems editorial website has won at The Drum Online Media Awards 2019. Media Chain launched Student Problems less than a year ago as the hero site within its editorial portfolio. With over 2.75m visitors per month, Student Problems is connected to over 10 million students on social media and known as the global social-first students’ union. The site acts as the voice for student issues as well as providing the latest student news and entertaining them through the best stories from around the world continuing to grow day by day.
Now Student Problems is helping shape some of the most important conversations happening among youth audiences in 2019. Covering critical topics like mental health and world politics, whilst still keeping up with the latest Game of Thrones all in a day’s work.
“Great to see Student Problems listed next to established names like the BBC, Channel 4 and Aljazeerah. At Media Chain we take a social-first approach to editorial with a focus on youth audiences and the content they want to see. This has helped us carve out a leading voice in student culture.”, beams Editorial Manager at Student Problem, Brad Lengden.
